  • Can I delay my delivery?

    We are unable to delay delivery for items purchased directly from our website. For orders delivered via RXO, we generally estimate delivery within 2-4 weeks from your purchase day. For orders delivered via FedEx, we generally estimate delivery within 2 weeks.

    For orders delivered via RXO, our partners can generally hold items up to 14 days from when they arrive at the hub nearest you.

     

    How long will it take for my order to arrive?

    Delivery of all items typically occurs within 2-4 weeks of ordering depending on the delivery address. For a more specific delivery range, add your items to cart and enter a zip code in the checkout process.

    The delivery estimates provided on our website are up-to-date and to the best of our knowledge. We expect most customers to receive their orders within the timeframes listed at checkout; however, we are unable to guarantee delivery dates through our carriers.

    All Beautyrest.com mattresses are made to order, and production generally takes between 4-9 business days. This time is already included in the delivery estimate.

    Due to new safety protocols, our factories and shipping partners may experience delays. We will do our best to communicate major delays to customers who are impacted, but also recommend you:

    • If possible, hold off on getting rid of an old mattress or sleep setup until the new items are received. 
    • Create a backup plan in case your product(s) are delayed. We don't want customers to be without a place to sleep if there are unforeseen setbacks or delays in delivery. 
       

    Where and how will my order be delivered?

    All Beautyrest.com products ship separately, with flat mattresses and foundations being delivered through RXO Logistics, and all accessory items being delivered through FedEx Ground.

    RXO delivery will come with White Glove service and include set-up and removal services (more information can be found below). 

    For FedEx deliveries, drivers will attempt to deliver packages to the front door, if they have access to it, or wherever packages are typically received at multi-dwelling units (such as mailrooms or leasing offices). 

    White Glove Service:
    White Glove Service is completed through our partner, RXO. Within 5 days of the order being placed, RXO will reach out to schedule a delivery date directly with the customer on the order. Please ensure email address and phone number are entered correctly at the time of purchase, to ensure RXO can establish contact as quickly as possible.

    A signature is not required, but an adult 18+ must be present on the scheduled delivery date to provide access to the home for the delivery, mattress setup, and mattress removal.

    Please note our in-home setup delivery partners have the discretion to refuse the removal of any mattress with stains or potential infestation. This decision is completely up to the delivery drivers.

    I have a shipping exception on my tracking, what does it mean?
    Shipping exceptions occur when a package is temporarily delayed while in transit. Every effort is made to deliver packages as soon as possible, but below you'll find some common delivery exceptions and what they may mean for you:

    • Barcode label unreadable and replaced: The label on the package was damaged so FedEx printed a new label and replaced the old one. Your package will continue its transit and deliver like normal.
    • Local Weather Delay - Delivery not attempted: Occasionally local weather (or weather along a specific delivery route) can delay delivery. By default, delivery is reattempted once the weather permits.
    • Customer not available or business closed: FedEx’s standard delivery hours are Monday-Friday between 8a-8p. A signature is not required for our packages and drivers are encouraged to use their discretion when making these deliveries. This alert may be generated by various scenarios, but most often relates to one of the below situations.
    • A driver may not feel comfortable leaving a package unattended at a residence so they will reattempt delivery the next business day. Your tracking will update to reflect the new delivery date. If you would like to provide delivery instructions for your driver, please reach out to FedEx directly at 1-800-463-3339.
    • If your shipping address points to a business that is closed or inaccessible when delivery is attempted, the driver will re-attempt delivery the next business day.

    Please note: FedEx makes 3 consecutive attempts (excluding weekends and major holidays) to deliver a package before returning it to us.

    If your mattress or any of our other products end up not being the right fit for you within the first 100 nights, we'll help you with a return and full refund.

    How do I receive my refund?
    After your mattress is picked up/returned, we will process your refund. It takes 5-10 business days for your refund to return to your original form of payment. 


    Please note: If your purchase was made through a retail partner, their return process will be different. Returns on items purchased through retail partners will need to be processed directly by the retailer and are subject to their preferred return methods. 


    Terms & Conditions
    Our return policy allows for one return per household, per item, per year. This means we will only return and refund one mattress purchased within the same year.

  • How do I return/exchange if I purchased through an authorized retailer?

    Since terms and conditions may vary based on the retailer, we recommend contacting your retailer directly for return/exchange eligibility.

    While the product itself was made by Beautyrest, your chosen retailer handled the original order/transaction, and so return/exchange inquiries will need to be handled by them directly.

  • How do I exchange my Beautyrest item purchased through beautyrest.com?

    If you're still within your 100-Night trial and purchased directly through beautyrest.com you have the ability to exchange for a new product.

    Give us a call at 877-298-4955 so we can walk you through the process. We'll place your new order over the phone, charge the difference in cost between the two items (or refund the difference accordingly), and walk you through the steps for the return of the original product. 


    Please keep in mind that an exchange will void the sleep trial for the new product. You can learn more about our 100-Night trial here.

  • How does the Beautyrest Warranty work? 
    Every Beautyrest mattress purchased through an authorized retailer comes with a limited warranty- specific length and terms can vary by type of mattress and can be found here.

    Preference issues related to the size, model, and firmness of products are not covered under the limited warranty.

    Most of our retail partners handle warranties directly for products purchased through them. For that reason, we recommend contacting your retailer directly first for warranty assistance.

    There are some instances where we may handle claims directly as well:

    -If you purchased directly through beautyrest.com

    -If your retailer has closed or gone out of business

    -If you've moved out of your retailer's service area

    For the above 3 situations, or if your retailer has referred you to contact Beautyrest directly, please fill out our warranty form.

    Please note for any claim submission, we require both a copy of the proof of purchase and photo of the law tag. If those cannot both be provided, your claim may be denied.

    Is shipping free?
    All items on beautyrest.com come with free shipping.

    How long do I need to wait before sleeping on my new mattress?

    You can start sleeping on the new mattress right away! There's no set amount of time to wait.

    There can be a break-in period for any new mattress, for some that can be as long as 4 weeks. Just like a new pair of shoes, it can take some time for your body to adjust. Remember that our mattresses are made to order, so the materials have never been slept on.

    Rest assured, if for any reason you're uncomfortable after breaking in the mattress, please reach out! We'd be happy to troubleshoot.

    Do I need to flip or rotate my mattress?
    We generally recommend rotating your mattress every 6 months, but there's no need to flip the mattress as they have been designed to have a specific top and bottom. 

    Does my mattress require a box spring?
    No, a box spring is not required if your current setup provides enough even support. You do not need to replace your current box spring if it is still in good shape.

    The mattress needs to be supported at all times, so platform frames, slatted frames, bunky boards, and even adjustable frames will support our mattress without requiring a box spring. The space between individual slats should be fewer than 2” for the right support. 
    You will need to purchase a box spring if your frame does not already provide that support- in the event that's needed, feel free to check out our frame/foundation options here.

    If the product was delivered damaged or is missing pieces, you'll need to contact the manufacturer directly for assistance. Beautyrest partners with many third-party companies to provide home and bedding accessories, and those partners handle warranty claims directly. If you prefer to return the item, contact the retailer you purchased from directly.

    Please check your product for the manufacturer tag and reach out to them directly. Note: Licensed partners are responsible for warranty service, so if you reach out directly to Beautyrest, our team will redirect you to the licensee for support.
